The meeting was called to order at 8:43 a.m. The minutes of May 11, 2005 were approved with changes.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS: Mrs. Ames discussed the School Improvement Plan (SIP). We will work with Coral Reef Senior High (page 8 of SIP).
Mrs. Clarington and Mrs. Ames spoke of the differences in the district’s and our wording of the SIP.
The Plato program can be used for a 60-day free trial. After that time it costs $18,000 to purchase.
Our School Improvement Plan (SIP) template is located at www.bsi.fsu.edu. The principal, assistant principal and teachers had to list why they’re qualified in the SIP.
Mrs. King told us our school did not have an adequate return on investment per each student. She also said we missed being a “D” school by 39 points.
We must test 95% of the student population. If this percentage is not tested the school will automatically be considered an “F” school.
We must submit our SIP by 4:00 p.m. today.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
