Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 4:14pm by Chair Dr. Miyar. Ms. Castells will record minutes for this meeting.
Minutes:
Ms. Albert motions to approve the minutes of Sept 18, 2024 with corrections. It was seconded by Ms. Castells. The motion was approved.
Reports:
Principal Updates:
-The exterior poles will be fixed and school will be painted.
-All classrooms will have peep holes
-Title 1 monies will be used for tutoring
-SIP is getting done
-There will be an instructional review by the district on Oct 22
-Homecoming is on Oct 18
-Sundae Funday was celebrated on Oct 16 to reward students who scored a 3 or more on the FAST PM 1 in LA and Math.
- Next celebration will be the scores of i-ready with Pizza and slushies
-Nov 8 is make up day for pictures.
-Oct 31 we will have a Haunted House
- Nov 5 is PD Day
-Nov 7 is Magnet night for incoming 5th graders
The next meeting will be on November 20 @ 4 pm in Room 32
