Call to Order
The EESAC meeting was called to order at 8:12 a.m. by Dr. Angela Gayden, EESAC Chairman.

Welcome
Mrs. Edouard welcomed all attendees, Officer Bayona, SRO and student advisor, Ms. Roxana Granados.

Roll Call
Ms. Gilbert conducted roll call.

Mrs. Edouard shared out the following:
•Currently 27 students enrolled, with a focus on improving attendance
•SIP Review highlighted the need for better attendance. Mrs. Edouard emphasized the importance of attendance and the correlation between attendance and academic success, and sharing data from the previous year will be utilized with each student.
•Working on bonding activities tied to lessons and milestones, with a focus on helping students and parents learn strategies to improve outcomes
•Mission to support teen parents and help them become the best parents they can be

Minutes
Mrs. Edouard made a motion to accept the May 14, 2024, EESAC minutes and Ms. Gilbert seconded. Passed by consensus.

SIP Review
Dr. Gayden shared out the following:

•Learning Gains/Proficiency in Reading/Math at 60+
•Scores on EOC testing at 60+
•CTE Certifications at 60+
•Students tested – 100%
•Daily attendance – 85% or better Graduation Rate - 100%
•CLT – Eligible 11th and 12th graders take the test at least twice

Title 1
Funding Allocation:
Teacher Salaries
Parental Involvement $109.00 (1% of allocation)

UniSIG Grant of $95, 000.00 received for various initiatives, including Interventionist funds and field trips. This grant is part of SIP budget.

By-Laws
The By-laws were distributed to members present and Dr. Gayden advised EESAC members to review and provide feedback on bylaws before next meeting.

School Activities Update
Ms. Binett, CTE teacher is the recipient of the Outstanding Leadership- Dream In Green Take Charge-Green Schools
Challenge Award.

•International Clean Up Day Field trip- Dream In Green Initiative
•Dr. Gayden and Ms. Binett collaborate and participate in the on-going Fairchild Challenge
