Call to Order
The EESAC meeting was called to order at 8:11 a.m. by Dr. Angela Gayden, EESAC Chairman.

Dr. Gayden welcomed all attendees, SGA President and SGA Vice President.

Ms. Gilbert conducted roll call.
Minutes
Ms. Gilbert made a motion to accept the September 10, 2024, EESAC minutes and Mrs. Morning seconded. Passed by consensus.
SIP Updates
Dr. Gayden shared out the following:

Parent-Family Engagement Plan (PFEP)
Mrs. Morning distributed the PFEP handout to members present and gave an overview of activities, tasks, and with an emphasizes on annual parent meetings, flexible parent engagement, and Title 1 compliance. The PFEP was submitted to district on October 4, 2024.
A motion was made by Mrs. Moody to accept the PFEP and seconded by Ms. Cobbs. Passed by consensus.
Ms. Binett requested that Migrant Program information from the PFEP be shared with teachers and how it can support students.

Student/Parent/Community Partner Input
SGA President shared her concerns and was advised by Dr. Gayden, EESAC Chair to address those concerns with administration for guidance and resolution. Dr. Gayden also suggested the SGA President take back to the student body that if there is a need, they should confide in a school trusted adult.
Mrs. Moody gave an overview of the current Stork Nest system in place for individual needs, Attendance Incentives and encourages students to communicate their needs.
Mrs. Robinson gave a compliment on our building new paint colors & butterfly mural.
Ms. Binett provided an overview handout of various activities & announcements from Career Technical Education, (CTE), Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA), Fairchild Challenge, Green In Green Initiatives, which included acknowledging Mrs. Garcia for her participation in the International Clean Up Day activity.
