Call to Order
The EESAC meeting was called to order at 8:13 a.m. by Dr. Angela Gayden, EESAC Chair.

In Attendance: Officer Sabrina Bayona, Ms. Nuris Binett, Mrs. Latasha James-Bodie, Ms. Natalie Cobbs, Mrs. Tammy Edouard, Dr. Angela Gayden, Ms. Constance Gilbert, Mrs. Monica Koblinski, Mrs. Marilyn Morning, Mr. David Perez, SGA President, and Mrs. Mildreca Robinson.

Alternate Members present: SGA Vice President
Non-Members: None

Mrs. Edouard welcomed all attendees.

Roll Call
Ms. Gilbert conducted roll call.

Minutes
Mr. Perez made a motion to accept the November 20, 2024, EESAC minutes with noted changes and Mrs. Morning seconded. Passed by consensus.

SIP Updates
Dr. Gayden shared out the following:
UniSig Grant Funding has been approved by the district level District and we are awaiting for state level approval.

School Recognition Funds (SRF) of $4,240.00 Awarded
Mrs. Edouard gave an overview of the SRF progress thus far. The SRF Committee proposed two (2) distribution methods for the $4,240.00 award:
• Equally divided by 41 employees with part-time teacher
receiving half of the amount received by the 41 employees
• 60/40 Split (Classroom Teachers/Non-Instructional Staff)

A motion was made by Mrs. Morning to accept the 2 proposals for all employees to vote on at the next faculty meeting and seconded by Mr. Perez. Passed by consensus.

School Updates

Dr. Gayden shared out the following:
• FFEA Club and Early Childhood Education participated in the 11th Annual
Innovate Career Technical Education Challenge - Second Place Winner, Promoting Your Teaching Academy Competition

• The Dream in Green Ladies and Family and Consumer Sciences students
participated in the Fairchild Challenge
and created a Public Service Announcement highlighting reduction of food waste
to mitigate climate change

• The Dream in Green Ladies collected 284 items for recycling in recognition of
the Water Quality and Conservation Month challenge for November
• Business students are updating the school website
• CNA students will begin clinical rotations in January
• Fashion Design students will participate in Domestic Violence Awareness campaign using recycled items
• Fairchild Growing Beyond Earth – Students are preparing for experimental trial 2
