The meeting was called to order at 4:20 pm

The minutes for the previous meeting on November 2024 were approved.
- There was no Quorum at the January meeting- It was a discussion only meeting.
- Jaley Alaway transferred to another school. Her mom Rosa Alaway was also part of the EESAC as a parent. Both of them resigned from EESAC
- Alyson Castillo was appointed in place of Jaley Alaway as student member.

Principal Updates:

- No updates on SIP
- Mid-March for updates for SIP waiting for climate survey.
- Saturday Tutoring continues till March 22.
- ESOL Tutoring will be starting soon.
- F. Baez will be doing ESOL intervention
- Math intervention will start soon with Dr. Tejada.
- Civics Test starts on Feb. 20-21, 2025
- The last day for i-ready Diagnostic is February 21, 2025
- Students that showed progress or went up to a level will be rewarded with a pizza party.
- Accelerated classes look good.
- Geometry students did very well on their mid-year.
- There are no student updates.
- There are no parent updates.
- Selected ESOL students went to Tallahassee for Rally to Tally and had an amazing time. Learned about Florida government
- The faculty voted on the SSRI and SIP waivers at the faculty meeting on 2/11/20205 and the waivers were approved by EESAC
The vote results were as follows:
ASM waiver and labor contract waivers- 100%
SSRI waiver- 100%
Block schedule waiver - 92%

Announcements:
Update for February 20, 2025 meeting at the district for attendance boundaries possible relocation of our school:
- Ms. Castells is meeting with a group of parents. They submitted a proposal on why to keep CCMS open. Parents and staff will present the proposal to the district.
- Valentines Dance 2/14/2025
- Meeting was held on March 12 by male role models at school for the all the boys on etiquette and appropriate behavior
