NO QUORUM- DISCUSSION ONLY MEETING
The meeting was called to order at 4:13pm
The minutes for the Feb 2025 meeting could not be approved due to lack of Quorum
Principal's Updates:
-The SIP is in order and nothing has been changed and was submitted without changes
-We are in compliance with Title 1 and we still have monies for tutoring which will be used for testing and boot camps
-The district held a meeting for Title 1 on zoom for parents and all constituents
-Dr. Ruiz went to Magnet Schools of America and we won top 9 magnet schools award.
Announcements :
-Gradventure is on 5/2 and there is a parent meeting today at 4/16. There is a parent meeting at 4/16
-Dance showcase is on 4/17
-Students went to youth fair in March as a PM2 testing incentive
-Women's History month Luncheon was on 5/18
- Univ of M did survey for 8th grade students in March
- 4/24 Take your child to work day
-5/4 to 5/22- EOY FAST testing
-Next week is Admin assistants week
-ESOL filed trip will be at the end of March-
-Testing party end of May
-Graduation for 8th Grade 5/23
- 8th Grade prom- 5/16
- Week of 5/6 is Teacher Appreciation week
-Lawton Chiles Middle School meeting with parents will be on 4/23 from 6-7 pm
-Quarter 3 honor Roll on 4/22
- Gems Spirit week next week
-Meeting was adjourned at 4:25 pm
