Call to Order
The EESAC meeting was called to order at 8:14 a.m. by Dr. Angela Gayden, EESAC Chair.

In Attendance: Ms. Nuris Binett, Ms. Natalie Cobbs, Mrs. Tammy Edouard, Dr. Angela Gayden, Ms. Constance Gilbert, Mrs. Monica Koblinski,
Mrs. Marilyn Morning, Mr. David Perez, SGA President, Dr. Sharon Pottinger, and Mrs. Mildreca Robinson.

Alternate Members present: Mrs. Patricia Johnson, SGA Vice President, and Mrs. Brigette Moody

Ms. Gilbert conducted roll call.

Minutes
Mrs. Robinson made a motion to accept the January 14, 2025 minutes with noted change and Ms. Cobbs seconded. Passed by consensus.

Dr. Gayden shared out the following:

The faculty voted 93% in favor of block scheduling and 100% for the Alternative Supplement Model (ASM).
Mr. Perez made a motion to accept the faculty’s decision in favor of block scheduling and the Alternative Supplement Model and Mrs. Robinson seconded. Passed by consensus.

SIP Next Steps
Approval of Mid-Year Reflection
Mrs. Robinson made a motion to accept the SIP Mid-Year Reflection and Mr. Perez seconded. Passed by consensus.

Dr. Gayden shared out the following:

Mrs. Robinson asked about options to support juniors who cannot afford the CLT exam fees. Mrs. Edouard advised she will look into it.

School Activities Update
• Lunar New Year Celebration via FFEA, Dream in Green, Las Mariposas and Multicultural Clubs Collaboration
• Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation via Runway Event
• Students participating in clinical rotations every week as part of CTE licensing requirement
• Culinary Arts Program via UF/IFAS Extension provided guest speakers, student information on nutrition and
healthy eating, and provided students Certificates of Completion
• Dream in Green-Ladies Going Green have collected 343 items in January
• One Florida Future Educators of America student opened a bank account
