The meeting was called to order at 4:16 pm
There was NO QUORUM established and it was a Discussion only meeting
Dr. Miyar welcomed everyone to the last meeting of the year and also it will be the last CCMS meeting due to the closing of the school.
The discussion only meeting minutes from April where we did not have a quorum were approved.
Principal's Updates
- Testing is complete
-The Data is looking good
-Finishing up with make up's. We are currently at 95% completion
Mr. Harris mentioned the 3 teachers that are retiring
- SIP (the findings do not need to be shared since we are merging with another school for the 2025- 2026 school year.
-Everything is up to date with Title I.
-Anyone who is in 6, 7 and 8 grade who has completed the PERT many apply and qualify for dual enrollment
-It must be done through the counselor and the students will receive college credits via Miami Dade North campus program and transport will not be provided
NEW BUSINESS:
- The EOY Assurances checklist was discussed and we are in compliance.
- The list will be uploaded to the system
Dr. Ruiz needs to verify all the pending EESAC minutes, except the last one
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Prom was a success
-Graduation will take place on May 28 at Barbara Goleman Snr.
-The 6th grade ESOL trip was a success
- We celebrated teacher appreciation week and teachers were given a lot of treats by the admin
-May 30- the end of year activity will take place for students that made learning gains
- The last 3 days we have early release and a modified schedule
-If teachers are having trouble with DPGT, admin can assist
Dr. Miyar thanked everyone who was a part of EESAC
