Call to Order
The EESAC meeting was called to order at 8:14 a.m. by Dr. Angela Gayden, EESAC Chair.
In Attendance: Ms. Sabrina Bayona, Ms. Nuris Binett, Ms. Natalie Cobbs, Mrs. Tammy Edouard, Dr. Angela Gayden, Ms. Constance Gilbert, Mrs. Marilyn Morning, Dr. Sharon Pottinger, Mrs. Mildreca Robinson, and SGA President.
Alternate Members present: Mrs. Brigette Moody

Welcome
Mrs. Edouard welcomed all attendees and thanked everyone for their support throughout the year.
Roll Call
Ms. Gilbert conducted roll call.
Minutes
Mrs. Robinson made a motion to accept the April 14, 2025, minutes with noted changes and Mrs. Morning seconded. Passed by consensus.
SIP Updates
Dr. Gayden shared the following:
- Faculty and Students in the process of completing surveys for Summer Synergy data to be used to write
next year's SIP
- In the process of establishing next year's academic focus, to be decided at next faculty meeting
- During Synergy in July, we will begin our 2025-26 SIP
- Strengths and Opportunities:
- Lesson planning using Framework of Effective Instruction in all classes
- Use of Claim, Evidence, Reasoning Method in all classes
- Use of Differentiated Instruction in all courses
- Strengthening the use of Reciprocal Teaching by implementing on a regular basis in all classes is needed
- Improved Positive Culture and Environment by improving student attendance through incentives and field trips
Dr. Gayden shared the following:
EESAC End-of-Year Assurances
- Minimum of four EESAC meetings for the 2024-2025 school year (8)
- All meetings properly advertised with Citizen Information
- EESAC roster and bylaws reviewed and updated (Roster reviewed; Bylaws-Nov 20, 2024)
- Principal/EESAC Chair verified EESAC Roster prior to Sep 20, 2024
- All EESAC agendas include SIP monitoring and implementation
Dr. Gayden shared the following:

- Earth Day School-Wide Activity
- Multicultural Fair
- UniSIG Field Trips:
- Senior Transition Lunch
- Zoo Miami
- Bowling
- Earth Week, Eco Summit & Earth Day Activities conducted by students from FFEA, Culinary Arts, and Dream in Green-Ladies Going Green to promote sustainability and environmental awareness; students actively participated in plant-based eating, plant potting, flowerpot decorating, planting seeds, and Eco Summit during a FFEA Club meeting
- Dream in Green Challenge-Ladies Going Green have collected and redistributed 2,520 items through the Share Table initiative
- Dream in Green Challenge-Ladies Going Green have collected and recycled 913 items
- Clubs participated in Teacher Appreciation Week
- Tots Field Day
