Approval of previous minutes.
School Improvement Process (monitoring, implementation, review, etc.) - Mr. S. Rivers, Assistant Principal:
- Mr. Rivers discussed Phase V Mid-Year Review and Reflect and Phase VI End-of-Year Implementation Plan.
- Phase V Mid-Year Review is scheduled for January 20, 2026 - January 30, 2026.
- Phase VI End-of-Year Implementation will take place from February 02, 2026 - May 22, 2026.
Old/New business:
- Ms. Vinat discussed the 2025-2026 Florida School Recognition Plan (FSRP).
- Faculty and Staff voted on the proposals that were submitted to the committee on January 07, 2026.
- The FSRP's financial award will be used for non-recurring bonuses to the faculty and staff - 88% allocated for Instructional Staff; 4% allocated for
Administrators; 8% allocated for Support Staff.
- EESAC unanimously approved the 2025-2026 FSRP Plan.
- Ms. Vinat informed the committee that Ms. Baltimore has been chosen as Carver's Teacher of The Year; will be recognized by the District in an
upcoming event / dinner.
- Ms Vinat urged the parents, staff, and all stakeholders to work jointly with the Union; current issues include Charter Schools seeking co-location in
public schools and the referendum.
- Ms. Kelly gave an update on the 8th grade trip to Islands of Adventure.
- Dr. Garcia reflected on the volleyball season; Bowling is coming soon.
- Ms. Hernandez mentioned that Cross Country had an amazing season.
- Mr. Sands gave an update regarding the trip to Washington, DC; scheduled for April 23-25, 2026. Additional information will be provided later.
- Mr. Sands reminded the committee that we are working closely with Carver Alumni Association as they prepare for the Hall of Fame recognition (last
Friday of February).
- We are currently waiting to hear from the District in regard to our S.T.E.A.M. visit; will ne an in-person visit.
