the meeting opened at 8:30 am. Ms.Belkin welcomed everyone. Mr. Bueno discussed the remaining $1380.00 in the budget which may be used for food items. He suggested using that money to provide breakfast and lunch for the students attending the field trip on June 5 as a reward for scoring 4.0 or higher on the FCAT writing.
In addition, $7200 remains and the committee was asked for suggestions. The following suggestions were made:
$995 for BrainPop
$15 for Science kits in the classroom
$20 for reading libraries
$1500 for math calculators
$1000 for supplemental needs
Ms. Marante made a motion to spend monies as proposed. Ms. Conroy made a motion to second the proposal.
Ms. Belkin asked if any business remained. Ms. Marante made a motion to close and adjourn the meeting. Ms. Conroy seconded the motion. Meeting Adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
