EOC's count as 30% of the students grade

-Focus is on safety, data and student population
-We rolled over 400 plus students from last year and not too many students left to other schools
- There should be an increase in incoming 6th grade class by 80-100 students
- looks like we will not surplus any teachers for the next school year and we may even need more teachers. we might have to just change the allocations.
-we are growing and the parent tours have been very successful.
- We will work on getting student ID's for next year. A photographer has been found. The ID's will have Bar codes.
-All teachers and staff have already gotten ID's that they have to wear and display at all times.
- Ms. Curry Coffee coached the Project Citizen and they made it to State showcase. The State competition will be held in May.
-Civics parent night organized by Ms. Cannon on April 18, 2018 was a success and well attended.

--Saturday school is very helpful
-Restrooms are sometimes not clean ( We are in process of hiring another custodian. Students can notify security monitors if bathrooms are not clean and Ms. Prado constantly goes around and checks the bathrooms to make sure they are clean and have supplies)
- Bullying can be an issue as students don't like to speak up and Ms. Prado will not tolerate any bullying including social media bullying if it is involving any students at our school.
- Ms. Vicky mentioned that we should have incentives for students who come to school on time daily and motivate students to come to school on time.
- Also some students are leaving early excessively and Ms. Curry- Coffee mentioned that maybe it can documented and addressed with a letter to parent during sign out.
Ms. Miyar discussed the new composition waiver and will send it to the EESAC members for review before we vote on it and submit it to EESAC Review Board for approval.
