We have all but three faculty members with an 7th period supplement, and we have 5 faculty members with eight periods. Three teachers were purchased

SIP-
Ms. Cynthia Lima

We have just finalized phase 3. The same focus during every phase. The area where we decreased the most was in Science. We now have two teachers in 6th grade, two teachers in 7th grade and two teachers in 8th grade. All grade levels have common planning. In addition to that we have Biology, for the first time we are offering all four high school credits that can be offered in Mathematics and Science at the Middle School Level. That will help us with acceleration. In addition to that we have 75 students that are taking two science classes for additional support in 8th grade science.

Science Mini Assessments only test 8th grade benchmarks. On the FCAT Science 2.0 6th and 7th grade benchmarks are also tested. We are going to have a science camp and a few Saturday School sessions by invitation.
