II. Call to Order
Ms. Ana Alamo, EESCA Chairperson, called the EESAC Committee meeting to order at 2:00pm on May 12, 2020, at International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA).

IV. Approval of Minutes from February 11, 2020
- Mr. Feiler made a motion to approve the minutes, and Ms. Harrison seconded the motion.
- Minutes from February 11, 2020 were approved unanimously.




V. School Improvement Plan 2019-2020
- The SIP is in its last phase. It was given to all departments for suggestions and will be finalized by June 4, 2020.
- The SIP was reviewed by EESAC members.
- Goals are based on current data. Because there were no exams, academic reflections will be based on last year’s (2018-2019) data. Academic areas for concern for next year (2020-2021) will be the same as this year’s (2019-2020). We will continue to improve upon School Culture at ISPA. Improvement will continue to in data-driven instruction and differentiated instruction.
- Mr. Feiler made a motion to approve the 2019-2020 SIP once reflections have been completed, and Ms. Harrison seconded the motion.
- Motion was approved unanimously.

VI. EESAC Budget
- EESAC allocated $1800 towards student incentives at the beginning of the school year. So far funds have been used for towards academic competitions, award incentives, and attendance incentives. In addition, we allocated $200 towards Model UN’s competition registration fee in November.
- Currently we have a balance of $460.63.
- These funds will carry over to next year’s EESAC.

VII. Virtual End of Year Activities
- The week of May 18 to May 22, 2020 will be virtual Award’s Week. End-of-Year awards will be presented via social media outlets. Every day a PowerPoint video will showcase students who received awards from different departments.
- Virtual Graduation Ceremony will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 9:45 AM.
- Cap and Gown distribution will be on May 28, 2020 pending Senior Clearance, along with a mini senior graduation ceremony in the underground parking lot, following CDC protocols.

VIII. General Information
- There was no general information given at this meeting.

X. PTSA Update
- PTSA Cocktail event was very successful. It occurred right before the shutdown.
- PTSA has been working with administration and staff to provide seniors with some sort of celebration. They will be participating the mini senior celebration on May 28, 2020.

XI. New Business
- Ms. Jarjour would like to be considered as a community member for next year’s EESAC.
- The internship program was suspended for this year. Students can enroll for next year’s program. Interviews are to be conducted via Zoom.

XII. Adjournment
- Ms. Baute moved to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Feiler seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:00pm.
