II. Call to Order
Ms. Ana Alamo, EESAC Chairperson, called the EESAC Committee meeting to order at 2:30pm on September 3, 2025, at International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA) in the Media Center and via Google Meets.

IV. Approval of Minutes from May 13, 2025
- Ms. Ledo made a motion to approve the minutes, and Mr. Luis seconded the motion.
- Minutes from May 13, 2025, were approved unanimously.

V. Introduction of New Parent/Teacher Members
- New student members are Avryle Torres (Student), Valentina Cubillas (Alternate Student) and Emeric Leon (Alternate Student).
- New parent member is Patty Rodriguez.

Opening of Schools Update
- Student enrollment is currently 349 students.
- Testing started this week. 9th and 10th grade students are being administered the FAST Reading PM 1.
- Students pending graduation requirement assessments will take the FAST Reading Retake and/or BEST Algebra 1 EOC.
- ISPA welcomed two new faculty members this year. Ms. J. Milian (Art), and Mr. Consuegra (Spanish).
- Ms. Corzo took on the challenge of Activities Director this year as well as Media Specialist.

VI. Safety & Security
- We continue to conduct the required drills and maintain students and teachers informed of any new protocols.
- The side gate will continue to remain open, since there is a second gate before getting into the underground car park. All other gates and doors will be locked.
- A meeting was held with all security personnel reminding them of visitor protocol.

VII. EESAC Composition Waiver
- An EESAC Composition Waiver has been proposed to keep our member composition as it currently is.
- The breakdown of members consist of one principal, four teachers, one educational support employee, one student, four parents, and 2 business community members.
- Additionally, we would have one alternate teacher, one alternate parent, one alternate educational support employee, and one alternate student.
- Ms. Bryson made a motion to approve the composition waiver and Mr. Taracido seconded the motion.
- The EESAC Composition was unanimously approved.

VIII. School Improvement Plan 2025-2026 / EESAC Bylaws/Revisions
- Areas of focus: Instructional Practice specifically relating to ELA, Instructional Practice specifically relating Intervention, Instructional Practice specifically relating to Science, and Positive Learning Environment relating to Early Warning System (Attendance).
- School Improvement Plan Phase 1 & Phase 2 was presented to EESAC members by Ms. Alamo at the meeting.
- Ms. Lancis made a motion to approve the SIP, and Ms. Torres seconded the motion.
- SIP 2024-2025 was approved unanimously.
- No bylaws revisions needed at this time.
- Ms. Alamo will verify EESAC Roster.
- 2025-2026 SIP Signature Page will be completed, signed by appropriate individuals, and submitted to district.

IX. Open House Overview
- Open House will be held on September 11, 2025 at 5:30 AM.
- Student volunteers will assist parents throughout the evening.

X. PTSA Update
- PTSA Parent�s Night Out was a success.
- Many parents attended as well as several ISPA staff members.

XI. New Business
- No new business was discussed.

XII. Adjournment
- Ms. B. Sanchez moved to adjourn the meeting and Ms. Lancis seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 pm.
